Big Lake Services, now a part of Nine Energy Service, is headquartered in Midland, Texas and provides workover, completion and maintenance services to oil and gas exploration companies in the Permian Basin and surrounding areas. BLS was founded in 2006 and has grown its fleet from three units to 22 well service rigs at the time of Rock Hill’s investment.

The company’s management team has more than 150 years of oilfield experience, the majority of which has been spent in the Permian Basin. BLS customers are some of the most prolific exploration and production companies in the region, and many have been BLS customers since its inception.
